Purchaser Faces Additional $10,000 Bill
The new property purchaser is now facing surveying and legal fees that may exceed $10,000, something that would not have occurred had he seen the RPR that had been prepared for the property. After buying the property, Smith learned that his garage extended five metres onto a road allowance and the house did not meet the set-back requirements as prescribed in the municipal land-use bylaws. Thanks to Mike Isaak and the Peace Country Co-op for all the help with the food, particularly the tasty steaks and chicken.
Thanks to the Peace River Fire Department for the use of their fancy NEW BBQ donated by ATCO Gas. GEOSPARK is donating $100 towards the Peace River Fire Fighters Association as a small thank-you.
Of course we will be planning another BBQ next year, and we look forward to making it bigger and better each year.
